They're At It On Posterous As Well
I suppose it was inevitable.
In my naivety I thought Posterous might be different. It's such a nice service, clean, elegant, highly functional.
I really like it ;-)
But today I had emails telling me a couple of guys were "following" my blog.
Such a nice feeling when somebody might care.
But then I checked them out and decided they weren't interested in my random musing and won't even know I've written this.
How do I know?
Well the first is following 1100 blogs on Posterous - don't make me laugh!
And the second is following 17,263.
They've obviously got some code running somewhere which automates the whole thing.
My only question is why? What on earth do they expect to gain?
Obviously traffic to their blog, but so what.
All these people are doing is screwing up a great service for everybody else by catching the gullible.
Somehow this doesn't happen with Tumblr. Can anybody tell me why?
